The announcement block allows you to display highlighted messages within the cart to capture the customer’s attention. You can use it to communicate promotions, urgent messages, reminders, or any relevant information you want to emphasize during the checkout process.
Here’s how to enable, configure, and customize it according to your store’s needs.
1. Activation
To start using announcements, first activate the option from the cart settings panel. Once enabled, the announcement will appear visibly at the top of the cart, just before the product summary.
2. Configuration
After enabling it, you’ll be able to add a custom message to display to customers.
Here are a few message ideas you can use:
“Enjoy free shipping on orders over €50!”
“Reminder: your discount code ‘SPRING15’ is still active.”
“Items in your cart are selling fast!”
“Order before 2:00 PM and receive it tomorrow.”
This message is completely flexible and can be changed anytime depending on your active campaigns or key communications.
3. Style
Customize the look of the announcement to match your store’s appearance and branding. You can edit:
Text color
Background color of the announcement
This allows you to highlight the message using your brand colors or visually differentiate it from the rest of the cart content.
