All cart discounts available at Planet are Product discounts and can be combined with other discounts as long as both have the combination enabled. These are the types available:

These are discounts that are applied to the total price of the order. They are usually discounts in % or fixed amount when spending a certain amount or buying a fixed number of products.

Enabling this option allows the created discount to be combined with active order discounts. The same must be done for the order discount to be combined with it.

This option is disabled by default as Shopify has not implemented it for all stores, so we must check it manually before enabling it for your store.

Product discounts apply to each product line in the cart and checkout, not to the total order price. So, by enabling this option, you allow the combination of the created discount with any other active product discount. As long as both are enabled.

Otherwise, Shopify will apply the most beneficial one for the customer. Note that each product can only apply one discount at a time when they are product discounts.

These are the discounts made on the shipping price. If this option is not enabled, the discounts created cannot be combined with the shipping discounts.
